How You Can Help
Be proactive about reducing the number of interactions that students and staff have with one another by practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet apart) to limit the spread of COVID-19. In addition to physical distancing, these important tools help to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Wear a mask or face covering while in public places or if people who don’t live with you must visit your home.
- Avoid unnecessary gatherings with people who don’t live in your home.
- Avoid sharing food, drinks, or utensils.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Sing the Happy Birthday song twice to help know when it has been 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers that contain at least 60% alcohol.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, and then dispose of the tissue and wash your hands immediately. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve, not your hands, to cover coughs and sneezes. If you are experiencing cough or congestion, consider staying home and seeking medical care.
- Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends cleaning of frequently touched surfaces with household cleaners and EPA-registered disinfectants that are appropriate for the surface, following label instructions. A simple bleach solution may also be utilized.
If you have any questions, contact Eagle Learning Center at 419-720-2003 or the Lucas County Health Department at 419-213-4100. Thank you for helping to keep people safe and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and school.

National School Choice Week 2021
National “I Love My School” Week

I love my school because…
-
The loving staff
-
Quiet and calm work place
-
The encouragement from staff
-
To be able to love school again 🙂
-
And a place where I can see myself graduate.
~Jennifer Brown, Sophomore
I love my school because…
“I am going to graduate from Eagle Learning Center. Eagle Learning Center wants all of their students to graduate and push us to do it. All of the staff always offer help and remind us on a daily what we are working for to keep us motivated and encourage us to keep working. Eagle Learning Center offers many elective classes that you actually are going to need in your lifetime. They not only walk you through your steps to graduate, but help you have a plan for when you do graduate. They actually do want to see us all graduate and help us where we need or struggle. They not only help us in school but also outside of school with getting a job, and if we need help with out work when we are not in school, the staff/teachers always offer help. They go out of their way to make sure we stay on the right path to graduation and having a plan after that.”
~Chelsey Thomas, Sophomore
I love my school because…
“Eagle Learning Center has helped me more than any other school I’ve been to. The staff is very helpful and understanding. They are making me graduate. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
